Our Mission
When firefighters, their families, and community members face hardship, the Stamford Professional Firefighters Foundation answers that call. We are a charitable organization created to support those in need during times of hardship.
The Foundation exists to support active and retired firefighters, stand beside families facing crisis, assist neighboring fire service communities in moments of tragedy, and invest in public safety initiatives that strengthen Stamford and the surrounding region.

Spring 2026 Fund Drive
When our community calls, firefighters answer. When they face hardship, we answer. The Stamford Professional Firefighters Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to strengthening the community we proudly serve. We provide vital assistance to active and retired firefighters, stand beside families during crises, and invest in public safety initiatives that enhance the well-being of the Stamford region.
We are expanding our commitment to this mission by:
LODD Family Fund
Establishing a Line-of-Duty Death (LODD) Family Fund to ensure families are protected.
Burn Support
Expanding burn support efforts to assist more families recovering from disaster.
Scholarships
Awarding enhanced scholarships to support the community's future leaders.
Golf Outing
Hosting an annual golf outing to benefit Make-A-Wish and local charitable giving.
